West Kowloon Cultural District is one of the most romantic spots in Hong Kong, perfect for bringing your loved ones to enjoy a breathtaking sunset over Victoria Harbour. (it’s where we had some of our very first dates!)
The atmosphere here is always lively yet relaxing. It’s a dog‑friendly space, so you’ll often see families, couples, and groups of friends gathering for picnics on the grass, especially during weekends and holidays (so you will expect these times to be quite crowded).
the area is also filled with restaurants and cafes, so whether you’re craving a coffee or a quick bite, you will not run out of options!
cheung chau 長洲
For an easy and fun sunset, take the ferry to Cheung Chau. It’s a small island with no cars. You can walk or rent a bike. The vibe is very chill.
We go there for a super affordable seafood dinner by the water. After, we walk to the rocks by Tung Wan Beach. We sit, relax, and watch the sun go down over the sea. The sky turns orange and pink. It’s a very pretty and peaceful way to end the day.
For us, it’s the best spot for a simple, romantic date with a great view.
